finally got off my ass and went out and got some shots. Its a shame it has to be an area i've already been through a few times. True i only go through every 3-6 months and in that time its usually changed enough and different parts are accessible so it doesn't all look the same, but still its the same path.

This particular trip had a double purpose, the main purpose was actually to scout a route that did not require any backtracking except for the first third of a mile which has to be repeated regardless. The other purpose was for the pictures and the fresh air that comes with that. The reason that i wanted the non-backtracking path was so that when i went with a friend of mine the following day very little of it would be repeated and she could see all the best parts of the trail.

The path i charted took me about 2 hours with a camera, as noted in my submissions, i only shot for the first section of the hike. the trail has some nasty parts to it (nasty within the bounds of public trail mind you, so no rock climbing) and i came home somewhat worried about how i would feel the following day. As it turns out, i woke up feeling fine, i knew i had hiked the day before, but not to the point of impairment.

When she and I traversed the path later that day we did not go the entire route (thankfully) but did take a couple side trips for rockclimbing adventures, resulting in a few scraps for her and me pulling a muscle in my left knee, (thankfully it was the left, my good knee, therefore with a single icing later that evening it was healed within a day). Our hike was also about 2 hours despite cutting off about 1/3 of what i did the day before.

The rest of my muscles were not so willing to give up the aching so easily. the following day i was stiff and sore from the previous 2 days of hiking, especially my calves and ankles. 3 or so days later tho its only a mild ache and other than some occasional stiff/soreness it was not that unpleasant. She seemed to enjoy herself and i had had ample opportunity to make a move, however her having a boyfriend keeps me a bay, but i'm souring on my concepts of honoring her loyality to that guy...tired of being mister nice guy...
